Faversham Railway is your nearest rail station, situated in the town centre. Faversham offers a number of services to destinations across the south, including; Canterbury East, Chatham, Dover Priory, Gravesend, Ramsgate, Dartford, London St. Pancras International and London Victoria. Services to London operate every 30 minutes. The train station does not have step free access.

Travelling on the train regularly can be cheap! Railcards are a great way to save money (up to a third) on train travel. There are several cards available, these include:

Getting to the station
Travel by Bus
Faversham station is located on the No. 3, 3B, X3 and X4 bus service route, with services stopping adjacent to the station forecourt. Travelling by bus to the station could be cheaper than parking for the day.
The station has only 170 car parking spaces. Parking charges at the station are currently: £5.80 daily, £26.50 weekly, £100.70 monthly, £299.80 three-monthly, and £1049.80 annually. Travel by bus offers quite a saving over parking charges!
Cycling to the Station
For the more energetic, Faversham Railway Station is located approximately 2km (1.3 miles) from your home. This is approximately a 6 minute cycle. Cycle parking is available at the station with 33 stands. There is plenty of cycle parking at the station both on and off the platform. If you are travelling on a folding bike or outside of rush hour on a standard cycle you could take your bike on the train. Check with the rail operator’s website for conditions of carriage.
